What Are Takes in Aiode Beta?

In Aiode Beta, a "Take" represents an alternate version of a specific musical region generated by our virtual musicians. This feature lets you explore different interpretations of the same region, fine-tune musical details, and save up to five variations per region.

How to Generate New Takes

  1. Mark Regions for New Takes
Once you’ve generated a region, click the Queue New Take button. The region will be marked with a purple dot, indicating it’s ready for a new take.

  2. Generate New Takes
After queuing, hit the Generate button. Aiode will create new takes only for the regions you’ve marked.

Managing Your Takes

  1. Accessing Takes
Click on a region to open its Takes Manager in the right-hand sidebar.

  2. Options in Takes Manager

    • Rename: Customize the name of each take to keep your project organized.

    • Favorite: Mark a take as a favorite to protect it from being overwritten.

    • Delete: Remove any takes you don’t need.

  3. Take Limits

    • You can save up to five takes per region.

    • When generating a 6th take:

      • The oldest take is automatically deleted unless it’s marked as Favorite or is currently active.

      • This ensures you always have space for new ideas without losing your key takes.

Pro Tips 🧐

  • Iterate Boldly: Generate multiple takes to explore variations and discover what resonates best.

  • Secure Your Gems: Always mark standout takes as favorites to keep them safe.

  • Stay Organized: Use descriptive names like “Jazz Swing” or “Synth Groove” to easily identify your takes.

With Aiode Beta’s Takes feature, you can craft, compare, and refine your music with ease. Enjoy exploring the possibilities! 🎧✨
