Adding Regions to Your Timeline
Regions define what the musician will play in your project. In Aiode Beta, you can add regions in three easy ways:
How to Add Regions
Quick Add with the Sidebar
Click the Free icon in the right-hand sidebar.
A default 8-bar region will appear at the playhead's position or the next available space.
Drag and Drop from the Sidebar
Drag the Free icon from the sidebar to your desired position on the timeline.
This lets you place the region exactly where you want it.
Create Custom-Length Regions (Recommended!)
Click and drag in a blank space on the musician's channel to mark the desired length of the region.
After releasing, a menu will appear to select the Free region type.
This method gives you precise control over the region’s size and placement.
How to Remove Regions
Click the Trash icon located on the right-hand side of the region you want to delete.
The region will be removed from the timeline, freeing up space for new ideas.
