Adding Regions to Your Timeline

Regions define what the musician will play in your project. In Aiode Beta, you can add regions in three easy ways:

How to Add Regions

  1. Quick Add with the Sidebar

    • Click the Free icon in the right-hand sidebar.

    • A default 8-bar region will appear at the playhead's position or the next available space.

  2. Drag and Drop from the Sidebar

    • Drag the Free icon from the sidebar to your desired position on the timeline.

    • This lets you place the region exactly where you want it.

  3. Create Custom-Length Regions (Recommended!)

    • Click and drag in a blank space on the musician's channel to mark the desired length of the region.

    • After releasing, a menu will appear to select the Free region type.

    • This method gives you precise control over the region’s size and placement.

How to Remove Regions

  1. Click the Trash icon located on the right-hand side of the region you want to delete.

  2. The region will be removed from the timeline, freeing up space for new ideas.
