Instead of downloading files manually, you can now drag and drop your regions, tracks, or full sessions straight from Aiode into your DAW or Finder/Explorer using the new DAW export icon.
Exporting Audio from the Desktop App
The new export system gives you multiple ways to download or drag your audio, depending on what you need.
1. Region Download
Each region, now has a DAW export icon
→ it appears in the top middle of the region after it’s generated. To download, simply drag the DAW icon into your DAW or anywhere on your computer.
This exports only that specific region’s audio.
✅ Best for: when you only want to export one section or idea.
2. Track Download
Each track has a DAW export button located in the trackhead (on the left side).
Unlike region download, this one works in two steps:
Click once to prepare the track for export.
Then drag the DAW icon to download or drop it directly into your DAW.
The exported track includes all regions, plus empty spaces, perfectly aligned to the project’s timeline so it stays synced when imported to your DAW.
✅ Best for: exporting a full track that matches your DAW timeline.
3. Musicians Download
Open the Downloads Sidebar by pressing D or clicking the Downloads button on the top right of the UI.
Click Musicians to download all tracks for all musicians in one go.
✅ Best for: downloading your full session with all musician stems.
4. All Takes
From the same Downloads Sidebar, click All Takes to download every version of every musician’s performance.
✅ Best for: comping takes or exploring variations later in your DAW.
5. Mixed Download
Also in the Downloads Sidebar, click Mixed to export a fully mixed version of your project.
✅ Best for: quick listening or sharing a single full mix.
Quick Tip
Every export (region, track, or full session) is rendered in 48kHz / 24-bit quality, ready for professional use in any DAW.
That’s It
No extra settings. No waiting for downloads.
Just drag, drop, and keep creating.
